Families, when your student is out of school, please fill out the absence reporting form. You will be able to upload a doctor's note to the form as well. 

Granbery students can check out books, e-books, audio books and more from Limitless Libraries.

Metro Nashville Public Schools will provide all Kindergarten students with the following items free of charge:

• 3 Crayola crayons (24 count)
• 1 pack of markers
• 3 packs of pencils (10 count)
• 8 glue sticks
• 1 composition book
• 4 pink erasers
• 1 scissors

No supplies are required for Kindergarten students, but if parents would like to provide additional items, the following would be appreciated:

• Shirts can be any style (collar or no collar) with short or long sleeves.
• Shirts must have sleeves. Tank tops, spaghetti straps, or off the shoulder are not permitted.
• Mid-sections (stomachs) must be completely covered. Crop tops are not permitted.
• When arms are raised above your head, shirts must still cover mid-sections (stomachs).
• Sweatshirts with hoods are permitted but the hoods must remain off the head.
• Writing or images on clothing must be appropriate and contain no suggestive or profane words or images.

• Bottoms can be any color or pattern but should not have any rips, holes, or tears.
• Shorts and skirts must be fingertip-length when students are standing with hands to their sides.
• Bottoms must sit at the waist with no undergarments showing.

Not Permitted

• Pajama bottom pants are not permitted.

• Tennis shoes are highly encouraged for daily outdoor play and Physical Education classes.
• All footwear must have a heel strap.

Not Permitted

• For safety reasons, flip-flops are not allowed. All footwear must have a heel strap.
• House shoes (slippers) are not permitted.
• Shoes with wheels are not permitted.

• Head coverings are permitted for religious purposes.
• Hats or hoods are not permitted.
